Join Bike Walk Wichita friends for an evening under the stars at Wheels to Reels on October 7 at the Starlite Drive-In movie theatre. The annual fall fundraiser features a documentary film, bike + gear show competition, adventure raffle, partner vendors, food and friends.
This year’s Filmed by Bike documentary, out of Portland, Oregon, is a stunning collection of adventure film shorts from around the world. The series explores diverse stories of cyclists from nine cities, including Brooklyn, Vancouver, Bristol, London and others, and highlights how the passion for bike culture is alive around the globe. This annual fundraiser is vital to keeping Bike Walk Wichita rolling throughout the year!

We have an excellent evening planned for our friends who’ve chosen to join us this year! Gates open at 5:00PM, so come walk the grounds, connect with friends/sponsors/vendors, and enjoy local food and drink vendors including: A Better Bar Service, Inspirit Kombucha, Travieso’s Food Co, Taco Locale (vegan, pork + beef), and the Starlite Drive-In concessions.
Kids 12 and under get in free with an adult admission.

Event History
For the past decade [skipping 2020], Bike Walk Wichita has been hosting an annual movie event that serves as a time for BWW friends, new and old, to gather and celebrate. This event serves as BWW’s main fundraiser to ensure our BWW HQ’s remains open, ReCycle wheels are spinning, and our mission continues. BWW remains a resident-led organization transforming Wichita into a more accessible, connected city for all.

Sign up for a shift and receive free admission to the event, plus a special thank you gift just for volunteers. Select your shift or contact us directly! All volunteers will receive a free General Admission pass, BWW t-shirt [as supplies last], and an exclusive thank you gift.

If we need to cancel the event due to weather, our rain date is the following Thursday, October 14th. Additionally, if we need to cancel the event due to a public health order, we will provide a film link for you to view at your own convenience. We have intentionally selected a venue that will provide plenty of outdoor space for safe gathering, so we do not anticipate any cancellations.
