Time to Walk the Talk.
Douglas is ICT’s iconic avenue that continues to be an economic driver and important gathering space for our residents and guests, whether they are shopping, dining, socializing, or simply moving through. There have been years of city planning, adopted policies, and conversation envisioning a more accessible, dynamic Wichita. NOW is our chance to create an avenue that will better serve our residents, local businesses, visitors, and future generations.
THIS Wednesday, April 3rd the city is hosting two open house events for the public to weigh-in on design concepts. If you live, work, and/or play in the Douglas Design District then this is a great opportunity to share what YOU would like to see for the future of Douglas Ave.
Wednesday, April 3rd at 11:30-1:30pm and 5:00-7:00pm
Downtown Wichita Innovation Center, 507 E. Douglas
THANK YOU for taking your time to share input and spread the word! Considering the latest data showing an 80% increase in people biking/walking plus the scooters, we feel this is a critical opportunity to get it right.

( I’d Hate Riding in the Rain,or Snow ?) I once drove an Armored Car, like to Hear from you ! Ray, hope you are doing well. We would love to help you out. We have an Earn A Bike program, helmets, and other resources. Our ReCycle Shop is open Fridays & Saturdays 1-4pm for open shop. 131 S. Laura Street
