City Parks  

Explore the Wichita park system which is composed of 144 parks, including a number of public open spaces that total over 5,000 acres. An interactive map is available at: City of Wichita Parks Locator

    • Most parks have walking paths such as:
      East: Harrison Park, 1300 S Webb Rd
      West: Swanson Park, 1011 N Maize Rd
      North: Chisholm Creek Park, 3228 N Oliver
      South: Watson Park, 3022 S McLean Blvd
    • Arkansas River path 

      This 10 mile multi-use path goes through the heart of the city and provides access to parks and lots of city attractions, including museums, the stadium, and the zoo. There are plenty of places to park along the path as well as many quiet stretches to explore.
