From taking photos to crafting materials, there’s lots to do that won’t get your hands greasy!

Craft Projects for BWW Events

Drop in any time during the crafting session to help us make bike chain key-rings, bracelets, handouts and other fun give-aways for Open Streets ICT and other upcoming BWW events!

ReCyclists

ReCyclists share their artistic, crafty talents to help bring life to ReCycle’s bike parts that need a new life. ReCyclists work on their own schedule to create bike wheel wreaths, ReCycled wheels and bike parts that will be utilized as BWW Member+ swag or sold to generate funds to support BWW’s ReCycle program and outreach.

Office help

Do you like to organize? Don’t mind doing data entry? Our Office Helpers come in during regular office hours (Fri and Sat 1-4) to help keep things working smoothly. Organization, data entry and cleanup are the keys here, along with attention to detail.

Marketing and Promotion

We try to have fun while spreading the word!  The forms of media we use span the spectrum. We use volunteers who assist with Social Media, Community Calendars, Instagram, twitter, Podcasting, Videos, Posters and riding our famous Billboard Trailer!

Hands on Worker

Periodically we are in need of those who like working with their hands. This can range from basic wood working, (building a work bench or shelves), helping organize tools and supplies, to working with other organizations landscaping trails.

Photographer

A picture is worth a thousand words. Besides a camera, if you own a smart phone, then you can be a photographer. And we can’t forget those videographers. Frequently we need photos or video for events, spotlighting an individual or group, or just an interesting photo/video story related to biking and walking. Email photos to photos@bikewalkwichita.org, and you can record your volunteer hours here.
