Just a quick reminder of volunteer opportunities with Bike Walk Wichita
Midtown Trail Quick Cleanup – TODAY Meet at 13th and Market at 2pm to help keep this important trail cleaned up. The Midtown Trail is in the heart of the city and gets a lot of use, we take an hour each month to do our part to keep it looking good.
ReCycle Bike Repair – Every Thursday 6-8 and Saturday 1-4 we work on bikes that have been donated to Bike Walk Wichita, getting them ready to be donated to someone who needs a bike for transportation. Lots of things to do to help, you don’t have to be an expert bike mechanic (although if you are… we’d really love to have you help!)
Volunteer Mondays – we’re starting this event on Monday evening August 29th, and will repeat every other week. Help us catch up on all kinds of tasks, from poster design to writing and editing, cleaning our space to data entry. Plus, if you’ve volunteered with ReCycle you can work on your own bike in our shop. Snacks provided.
