WAMPO asks for your comments

I’m looking for input on where the following types of locations exist around our region. [see attached map]

Gaps for pedestrians and bicyclists (e.g., locations where there is a gap between facilities)

• ·         Pinch points for bicyclists and pedestrians (e.g, locations where the road/facility narrows)
• ·          Bicycle corridors (e.g., streets or dedicated bicycle paths that cyclists commonly use.)
• ·         Pedestrian corridors (e.g., streets or dedicated paths that walkers and/or joggers commonly use.)

ATTACHED HERE IS A MAP OF THE WAMPO AREA.

I’d appreciate any input by April 20.

Another opportunity to provide the same input will be at the 5/1 Open House for the Wichita Bike Master Plan project.  I’ll have a table there, and attendees will be able to mark these locations on maps.
