After lots of meetings and input from our members, Bike Walk Wichita’s Board of Directors has approved an updated Strategic Plan for BWW! The Board has asked each of the workgroups to meet and plan out how to implement the Strategic Plan. A copy of the new plan is available below.

Along with the rest of the workgroups, the Advocacy Workgroup needs to begin that process. If you are interested in having a say in what happens with walking and biking in Wichita, please join us to start making priorities!

The Advocacy Workgroup will be meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 9 at BWW’s offices at 325 N. St. Francis to begin focusing on what needs to be done in advocacy. Among other things, we will talk about the Bicycle Master Plan that’s in the process of being updated. We need to let the City know our thoughts on what policies and routes are most important.
