A BIKE DRIVE THAT’S BUILT TO AMAZE!

RINGLING BROS. AND BARNUM & BAILEY® PRESENTS BUILT TO AMAZE
HOSTS A BIKE DRIVE FOR LOCAL CHARITY

Wichita, KS – One wheel, two wheels, three wheels or four…Stars of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will be accepting bikes and trikes of all sizes for donation to Bike Walk Wichita in partnership with United Methodist Open Door, Inc. to give a bit of independence to those in need.

Bring any new or gently used bike or trike to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey at the INTRUST Bank Arena (outside box office lobby – 500 E. Waterman, Wichita) Wednesday, August 26, 4 pm – 6pm and receive complementary vouchers to the Thursday, August 27, 7pm performance. Receive two vouchers for a tricycle; bigger bikes are eligible for up to four.

4pm: Donations begin. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey performers will accept donations, meet and greet, and pose for pictures.

4:30pm: Alan Kailer, a member of Bike Walk Wichita and who recently appeared in the WICHITA EAGLE for volunteering his time fixing bicycles for the homeless, will be on site to demonstrate mending techniques.

5pm: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s very own King Charles Unicycle Troupe will demonstrate hilarious basketball sequences on unicycles and show off a style of Double Dutch that can only be seen at THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH. Following, members of the King Charles Troupe will talk about how the unicycle changed their course in life taking them off the streets of New York and in to the ring traveling the world.

5:20pm: The members of The King Charles Troupe will continue accepting donations, meet and greet, and pose for pictures.

6pm: Event concludes.
