Volunteer Spotlight – January

Kristin Lau has been a friend of Bike Walk Wichita since July of 2020. Before she started volunteering in ReCycle, she attended some BWW walking events as well as Sunday coffee at the pop-up park. At one of these events, she was invited to a camp out but didn’t have a bike. Kristin was encouraged to come volunteer to Earn-A-Bike. Bike Walk Wichita is lucky to have such a friendly and skilled volunteer. Kristin has a degree from Newman in Information Technology and Management Information Systems, and has been a great help for BWW in those technological areas. One of her shining moments was when she created a slideshow and other documents give step by step instructions to following procedures in Salesforce and other tasks for the Front Desk Volunteers. She also loved to organize club and group projects while in college. We’re very excited to have her in the BWW Volunteer family, and we can’t wait to see how else she can wow us! Thanks, Kristin.
